Very informative article,Jerry!Glad to have you back!I look forward to Ascension day and 10 days later;Pentecost, this year on Sunday 20 May,6 days after the 70th anniversary of Israel. The imminent Rapture of the Church has NOTHING to do with the Jews(mostly secular anyway)at ALL.We are NEW creations to wit;the Bride of Christ in Christ Jesus!Waiting for the Shout!

Comments: I like to take note of the Jewish holidays because they were commanded by God for Israel. Major events in Jesus's life are connected to the holy days (some say He is the substance of the shadow cast by these days, which I believe). Jesus said not to let anyone coerce us into holy day observances, so it's fine if any Christian wants to observe a Jewish holiday. Speaking for myself, I wouldn't be able to refrain from pointing out the connections between the holy days and the life of Jesus, and that might make me an unwelcome guest. One day the eyes of the Jews will be opened and they will at last recognize all that God was trying to tell them. You are already in possession of the new life by the gift of God and they are still in shadow land. Please write about your experience when the time comes.

Agree, but the Jews of the world who do not believe will one day kneel and mourn greatly when they discover how wrong the rabbis were over the millennia. They do not study their own prophets.
